[There's no words and no indication who this is, just a load of golden-brown and green sparkles from PIXIE DUST.

All over the page.]

It could be!

Wait, starship?

[He brushes away just a little, possibly getting white/pale yellow on the page, illustrating what he sees as a Y-Wing.]

Look, here - near the bottom, these are the exhaust nacelles and the engines, here's where they connect, and here's the cockpit.

Oh! Yeah, I think I see what you mean. Gosh, a ship that really goes through the stars?

Not through. To, and among, the stars. Just something about the shape I see here... it seems right.

Now, now. Judging by the tiny handwriting above, there are probably children present. Play nice.

From: [identity profile] grab-my-bells.livejournal.com
Tiny does not equal child.
Child does not even equal child, judging from the last event.

You haven't been swatting the glowing things, I hope.

I figured from the fact that fireflies don't tend to survive during winter to be a sign that something was up in the tree, so no. Granted, I almost swiped a few when I wasn't paying attention, but that was hardly willful.

Count yourself lucky that you didn't try it on me. Or around me.

You act like I was intentionally swatting at people rather than just, y'know, walking around.

But I'll be mindful not to incur your tiny wrath from now on.

I know, but you'd be annoyed too if someone tried to hit you out of nowhere. And then did it to someone who's not skilled enough to dodge.

It's not going to be tiny forever.

[pause]

This is ridiculous.

Yes, but grisly sparkles!

Jesus, cool your jets. I did say almost. No harm done in the moments where I wasn't aware that the tree was turning people fae.

You think?

From: [identity profile] desig-survivor.livejournal.com
I know it wasn't intentional and you didn't do anything. Sorry.

Amnesia or not, I think I can safely say that I've never made a more absurd veiled threat.

From: [personal profile] live_ringer
People must have been using flyswatters to get that sort of rise out of you.

Oh, good. I'd have to worry about you if it got worse than that.

Try a two-handed clap. If I hadn't bodychecked that kid... We're sturdier than we look, but I think something would have been broken at the least.

I'd worry about myself.

It's what you do to crush, rather than shoo away, an insect that hasn't landed on something. Not everyone does it, but it happens more often than it should.
