[There's some sketchy lines that begin to take the shape of castle ramparts before she writes.]

Hey, if anyone's seen a woman with short pink hair, a m woman with long purple hair, or a man named Bartz could you let me know? I'm going down to that city with Nova tomorrow, but if anyone sees them running around here--or has seen them--I'd like to know.

What kind of creatures are living down there, by the way? I've heard all sorts of strange things, and I'm sure I read something about... fruit-smelling cows? A lot of it sounds like complete hogwash, really, except Edensphere's so weird I'm not going to expect anywhere else to be normal either.

Well, not that I remember normal, but I'm sure this isn't anything like it.

Long purple hair, hm? [He knows a couple who fit that description in Edensphere, though that's probably not what she's getting at.] People you knew from before, then?

Along with the shark kittens, they also have flesh eating rabbits. I would be wary of anything small, furry, and cute. They're like little fuzzy booby traps.

Yeah. Honestly I hope they aren't there because it doesn't seem like a very good place to be. But if they are, I'd like to see them.

I guess I'll have to wear a pair of good punting boots, then. There weren't any of those tribble things, were there?
live_ringer: (Grey skies are gonna clear up.)

[personal profile] live_ringer 2010-06-12 06:25 am (UTC)(link)
Understandable.

Rabbit punting? I don't think it'll take off as the next sport craze, but it sounds gratifying regardless. And no, no tribbles that I saw, but I suppose we can't rule it out just yet.

[identity profile] feathered-earth.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 06:37 am (UTC)(link)
If they're trying to eat my face, I think punting them is fair game. I heard there were some dragons--did you see any of those?
live_ringer: (When you would sing that song for me.)

[personal profile] live_ringer 2010-06-12 06:41 am (UTC)(link)
Can't argue with that.

I didn't, but then, I tried to stay away from the places where the larger creatures might be.

[identity profile] ruby-nova.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 06:49 am (UTC)(link)
I'll bring a rations pack so we have food and water while we're there.

[identity profile] feathered-earth.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 06:52 am (UTC)(link)
I have to wonder if the little fuzzy things are dangerous, the reverse is true for the big things. But it's probably best not to find out if I'm wrong about that.

[identity profile] feathered-earth.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 06:54 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, that's good thinking. The landscape is supposed to be kind of rough, so we'll probably need it.
live_ringer: (That I have found it.)

[personal profile] live_ringer 2010-06-12 07:04 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose it's possible. Might be best to ask around with the locals, first.

[identity profile] enchainement.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 07:06 am (UTC)(link)
The world is broken there.

[identity profile] weaver-girl.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 08:24 am (UTC)(link)
There are small prickly cats--I wouldn't pet them against the fur! I met someone who had one as a pet, though, so they're not too dangerous. The city area is safer, it seems.

[identity profile] feathered-earth.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 02:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Broken? [She hasn't heard it described as that before.]

[identity profile] feathered-earth.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 02:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Prickly cats? Okay--they sound like they'd make for pretty interesting pets, at least.

[identity profile] enchainement.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 02:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Ruined, damaged. Times colliding.

[identity profile] feathered-earth.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 04:24 pm (UTC)(link)
I'll be sure to do that.

[She wants to talk to a dragon that won't eat her, dangit.]

[identity profile] feathered-earth.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 04:25 pm (UTC)(link)
I know the landscape isn't stable, but--time? What do you mean by that?

[identity profile] enchainement.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 05:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Past, present, future us all NOW there.

[identity profile] feathered-earth.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 06:03 pm (UTC)(link)
...What?

[identity profile] enchainement.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 06:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Just that. It's wrong but it just is that.

[identity profile] feathered-earth.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 06:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh. [She still does not know what she meant.] I'll be careful.

Sorry for default icon, tagging from phone

[identity profile] enchainement.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 06:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay.

[identity profile] weaver-girl.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 08:45 pm (UTC)(link)
He looked a little like he was a cactus, but shaped like a cat!

I wonder if their animals could survive in the Sphere? The fruit-cows sound kind of nice, but I'm sure they'd be impractical at the Farm.

[identity profile] feathered-earth.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 08:54 pm (UTC)(link)
A cactus cat? I'll have to keep my eye out for one of those.

Maybe! I didn't think that they might not be able to live here, but they do survive differently than people do.

[identity profile] weaver-girl.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 09:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, it's a whole different ecosystem down there! It could be that we don't have the type of vegetation that they eat, and they could die from hunger. Or in the worst case, there could be diseases that they don't have immunity against...

Though I suppose the Sphere must take care of that some way. I mean, we should all be carrying different bacteria to begin with...

[identity profile] feathered-earth.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 09:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, they might not have the right food or be able to find it here without being fed by someone.

If a disease got loose, that would be pretty bad--but people and animals would have been getting sick by now I think, so hopefully it'll stay all right.

[identity profile] weaver-girl.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 09:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, I think so, too. Maybe being born from the cocoons sort of... makes us all the same. Being brought from the Wilderness might not have that sort of effect.

It makes me wonder about the Wilderness, though, but I think I shouldn't wonder on the journals.

[identity profile] feathered-earth.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 09:38 pm (UTC)(link)
It could be. I'm glad whatever it is works, though.

Me too--and it's probably safer not to.

[identity profile] weaver-girl.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 09:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe that's good enough!

Yes. This is the first time I've seen actual people down there, though. Has this happened before?

[identity profile] feathered-earth.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 09:50 pm (UTC)(link)
It has, but I wasn't here the last time it did so I couldn't tell you much about it.

[identity profile] weaver-girl.livejournal.com 2010-06-12 10:11 pm (UTC)(link)
All right, thank you.
