Hey, if anyone is up for the climb, the view from the Astronomy Tower is fantastic! You can see everything from up here... whatever this country is, it's very beautiful.

It's a very strange castle, though. I don't know if I've ever seen one that's all sprawled out like this, although there's certainly enough room to fit a lot of people if there's need. I can't see any farms or houses around either, just the Quidditch field. [pentaps] For that matter, I haven't found an armory yet, but this place is so huge I'm sure it'd be easy to miss. Most of the rooms are full of desks, like a scholar's study. I can't imagine why there need to be so many. Paladin, Reed, Spear, have you seen it yet?

Oh yeah, everyone should be careful if you pass a picture of a knight. I've had this Sir Cadogan guy following me through just about every painting I've passed offering to escort my fair maidenly self on my noble quest or something.

Has anyone been a Hufflepuff yet? I like the badger and the yellow--it's very cheery!

[He seems a bit more at ease when she says that, and puts away the journal. Slightly awkwardly, he attempts to remember if he had met her before. She was familiar, but it just didn't want to click.]

Do you... recognize me at all? [She knows it's not likely, but even though this is Edensphere, Krile does have a difficult time understanding how a person can forget so much.]

[She had met him before. Several times, it sounded like. Amurui looked down and shook his head as Krile asked if he recognized her. It was a bit sad that he couldn't even remember his friends.]

[She nods and pulls something out of her pocket--it's a Hufflepuff badge she found down in the common room.]

Will this work? I thought you might like it, since we both ended up with Hufflepuff robes in the Wilderness.

[He takes the badge and rubs it thoughtfully between his fingers. It was nothing special, just like all the little things he picked up to remember people by, but Krile as right. It would remind him of her and the Hogwarts wilderness.]

[She leans back on her hands, looking up at the leaves high above them.]

[He slides the badge into the journal and watches it for a moment. It felt nice and heavy, like a touch.]

Mmm. So do you like living in Edensphere? It is pretty nice sometimes.

[There are things Krile definitely dislikes about it, but the people--she doesn't regret making any of the friends that she has.]

[He thinks about that for a moment and then nods.

He didn't know anything about his old life, sans that he had been a slave and that he had killed his father. Neither of them were pleasant things (even if the feeling of being a slave had made him so happy) so the life he had built here was what felt like 'home' to Amurui.]

[Krile's not surprised to learn that Amurui likes this place. She does too, on its good days, but there are certain things about it she can't stand. It looks lovely on the surface, without the amnesia and the disappearances and the eerie hints of something dark at its center.

Still, if people do find happiness here, she won't begrudge them that. And not everyone has something to go back to, either.]

There are a lot of good people here. I'm glad to have met the friends I've made since arriving.

[Amurui had never really picked up on any underlying motives and plots for bringing people here, and he didn't have any ambitions to find a way out. Some events were dangerous, but in the boy's philosophy, so was life.]

[Apple, Smoke, Samehada... so many people that meant a lot to the teen, and probably more who he could not remember. No, in Amurui's mind, Edensphere was a good place.]
