The weapons shop was hit really badly by the hurricane, so we're going to be closed until we get it rebuilt. Right now we're not sure how long that'll take, but it won't until the houses are fixed at least. Sorry about the nuisance.
However, the forge on Stuff Inc. is fine! So we'll still be able to do repairs. But unless you really need it, wait until things settle down. Rebuilding is more important.
We did find a sign in the mess. Goodness knows where it came from, but it's in one piece and it's pretty spiffy. It says "The Weapons Tree," and I suppose that's a good name for a weapons shop.

[ She was excited to be seeing a forge again (it had to be again, why else would this feel so right?), but also to meet another smith. And a friend of Nova's, no less, which meant she was probably very nice. She had no doubt that trusting Nova's judgment was the right thing in this case. ]
[ When she sees the blonde standing there, she waves as she approaches. ] Are you Krile? [ She smiles. ]
Quicklog
Hello! Yes, that's me. Which means you're Flame, right?
[She looks her over, already deciding that Flame seems like a very nice, friendly person... but then she checks that impression. After over a year here, Krile feels she should know better than to judge someone at first meeting like she used to.
Still! She does like her so far. Krile starts off towards the small forge the shop uses.]
The forge is this way. It's not too fancy, but it's enough for repairing the things we find in the Scavenger's Yard.
Quicklog
[ She had no qualms with giving in to her feeling that she liked Krile right away. There'd been no one to up her guard yet, and she was naturally a pretty social person anyway. She followed Krile cheerfully toward the forge. ]
It's more important that it works than that it's fancy, I'd think. What kind of things do you get to work on? Just weapons?
Quicklog
Yep! Although I did have a friend ask me to make a buckle for him, it is basically all weapons. Mostly swords and spears, but there's a lot of unconventional things in the Scavenger's Yard sometimes.
[Krile carefully pushes the door open--it needs some repair and there's a hole in it--and walks in. The brick forge isn't lit, but the tools, bellows, and coal are still there.]
It needs a little fixing, but it came out okay in the storm.
Quicklog
It's wonderful.
Quicklog
You sure do look happy here.
[She pauses, tugging at the end of her ponytail a little.]
If you'd like--I couldn't hire you right away because the shop is still knocked over, but when it's fixed you could work for us. I've learned to repair things all right, but I'm not a proper blacksmith myself.
Quicklog
I'd love to! [ She can't imagine doing something else, in fact. It's as simple as adding two and two to her: she's found a place she belongs. No more consideration is necessary. ]
And if you wanted, I could probably teach you. Though it looks like you've gotten a good start, already.
Quicklog
Wonderful! Oh--you're still in Temporary Housing, right? Or you would be, if the hurricane hadn't come through... I'll make sure Housing knows you can live in a Section 1 house from now on, though.
And I would love to learn how to be a better smith, if you really wouldn't mind.
Quicklog
I would love to teach you. I don't know if I've ever had an apprentice before, but I'll try to be a good teacher.
